This course emphasizes on the principles of the elderly health promotion and disease prevention in the context of the family across the life span in advanced nursing practice. Appling nursing plan and nursing intervention for health maintenance, promotion, and disease prevention, improving self care ability & independent activities of daily living (IADL), and learning the way of adequate social activities are focused.
Nursing and management of geriatric diseases

This course focuses on understanding the type and character of physical health problem, confirming nursing problem, and establishing nursing plan and implementing nursing intervention for the management of individual health problem. This course provides the concepts and types of silver industry, environment and related laws. It gives the chance to identify the needs of the silver industry and the consumers, and practical strategy to respond effectively. Advanced nursing of Dementia

This course gives the framework of the second field of social welfare (Secondary setting). In addition, how the basic ideas and principles of social welfare field is applied to the second setting, the social welfare and medical system, the relevance of health and social welfare, and the issues of social welfare and challenges to overcome are discussed.
