Hanyang University ranked 72nd in the Top 100 Worldwide Universities Granted U.S. Utility Patents in 2016. Hanyang has moved up 20 spots from last year’s ranking of 92nd, thus, has shown outstanding progress this year.
The report, which is published by the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) and Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO), utilizes data acquired from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to highlight the important role patents play in university research and innovation.
