This class introduces the new concept of “living lab” in the field of study. The lecture includes explaining the theory, hands-on practice and covering several examples that can satisfy the intellectual curiosity of the student. Living Lab was originally rooted in the concept of "user-centered design" in the 1960s, but it’s definition and social influence were rather small. However, in 2004, the concept of Living Lab has been established by an experiment of the MIT Media Lab. And since then, Studies are underway to apply the Living Lab concept and research techniques. In this class, various of up-to-date research cases are introduced and practice of living labs are included.
