Professor Jung, one of the representative researchers in the field of humanities in Korea, conducted his research focused on Yeon-a Park Ji-won and Dasan Jung Yak-yong during the Josun Dynasty, focusing his study on the cultural-historical approach on intelligence tendencies and information editing methods of 18th-century intellectuals. Professor Jung mentioned that "the so-called Big-Bang experience of knowledge during the 18th century could provide us with a model that we can use to handle our information-intensive society of this era, and I want to find theoretical research that can provide us with the solution of the social problems through the people's perspectives and knowledge of the 18th century. The past is not only the older future, but it is also the present of that time."
