The Korea Productivity Center recently announced the 2019 results for the National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) that it has been presenting each year since 1998. Hanyang University climbed one rank compared to last year, earning 4th place among private universities.
 
The satisfaction survey was conducted for undergraduates from 15 private universities within the capital area. Among them, Sungkyunkwan University placed 1st with the highest score in succession to the previous year. It was followed by Kyunghee University, Ewha Womans University, Hanyang University, and Sookmyung Women's University. The competition was very fierce with the score difference being just 1 point between universities, and the fluctuation of rankings were large compared to the year before.

Hanyang University climbed one rank to 4th place, as opposed to 5th place with 77 points in the 2018 satisfaction survey announcement. The score stayed the same. The average of score for all universities recorded was 74.5 points, similar to the previous year, whereas Hanyang University scored 2.5 points higher than the average. Hanyang is continuously climbing in rank from 8th place in 2017, to 5th place in 2018, and now, to 4th place in 2019.
