Hanyang University, Selected as the "2020 Contents Creative Talent Partnership Project" Platform Organization

Hanyang University's Industry-University-Research (Director Ha Sung-gyu) announced on the 16th that it has been selected as the platform organization for the "2020 Contents Creative Talent Partnership Project" held by the Korea Creative Content Agency (Director Kim Young-joon).
The project is designed to foster talented people in the musical industry, which currently makes up the largest part of the performing arts industry. Hanyang University, which is in charge of the project, will select a total of 30 mentees in 15 areas related to musical production and run the musical creative talent mentoring program, "Musical A to Z Mentoring Program," for six months.
For the project, Hanyang University has cast △Gangnam (Writer) △Choi Jong-yoon (Composer) △Yang Ju-in (Music Director) △Jung Tae-jin (Lighting Designer) △Kim Pil-su (Audio Designer) △Oh Pil-young (Stage Designer) △Ahn Hyun-ju (Costume Designer) △Park Min-ho (Stage Director) △Jung Tae-young (Dramaturgy) △Kim Yun-hee (Photography·Video) △Lee Saem (Graphic Designer) △Jung Do-young (Choreography) △Kim Bo-ram(PR) △Kim Young-jo (Company Manager), who are the greatest mentors of each area, who will strive to foster creative people in the musical production industry.
Mentees who will be selected after the final selection will receive not only the mentoring program but also other diverse exchange programs and a creative support fund of 1.2 million won per month. Mentees will be divided into two teams of 15 members each and are expected to produce and present one creative musical for each team in 6 months.
"Musical A to Z" is open to people aged 18 to 34 that are soon-to-be creators and are interested in musical contents creation, possessing creative talent and knowledge. Among these people, those who meet the participation criteria of each field can apply to the program. (Refer to the website of Korea Creative Content Agency for further details on the criteria.)
The document application deadline is the 21st of this month, which can be done online through the website of Korea Creative Content Agency and Korea Contents Academy, and the applicant must submit the application form, a self-introduction letter, and a portfolio. The applicants who qualify for both the document examination and interview are expected to start participating in the program starting from May 11th.
